We're sympatico. I remember writing stories on the backs of my math worksheets all through elementary school, starting back as early as second grade. I daydreamed through my entire academic career. Great to hear about similar experiences. But ending up at USC, you must have found a much better ability to balance daydreams and schoolwork than I did!

I was on lexapro with my son. My depression was bad. I’ve talked to my doctor at the time and the doctor gave me the pros outweigh the cons. My son is good. He has speech delay but he’s doing good catching up with speech. I didn’t have much support being on antidepressants. But I felt I needed to be responsible and present for my son and kids. They are all healthy and happy.

i love this! your jesus story sounds so fun! when i re-conceptualized jesus as like a cult leader, it made so much sense to me. the charisma, the dedicated followers, the reaction from the establishment. i'm all for a queer, heist, comedy about jesus' polycule. sounds like a good time!

I was just thinking about your Year of No Dating (I think that’s what it was called) series the other day. Glad to see you’re back making videos, loved this!

My and my boyfriend want to get married and eventually start a family. I been off antidepressants for a few months. I know I’ll probably get depressed when I get pregnant, I’m so scared thinking about it. I know I’ll have to ask my doctors when i decide to take that step of becoming a mother.

I really need to set up my phone to work with voice commands, and remember to open Word before I start driving. All my good ideas, and well worded lines come to me when I'm doing 70mph on the interstate somewhere between grass and sunshine. Can never remember this stuff when I stop, and when I'm home, I'm always busy or tired. Drinking has the same effect, but I rarely do it.

Best advice my mom gave me with my first baby: Don't look at the epidural needle. Just learned that I'm pregnant with our second child and I'm back to watching this video again! 😊 My last epidural experience was positive and I have a brain condition that more or less necessitates that I have one.

I am thankful for Zoloft it changed my life I didn’t want to try them bc of the stigma but my son deserves a happy and healthy mom. It’s humbling but we are blessed to have this medicine bc some people early on didn’t have the opportunity

You’re very lucky nothing happened. They cause birth defects and your baby can be in the Nicu. The reason you got sick when you tried to get off is called protracted withdrawal. Would you give your baby the meds now? No.
